Opera in VBox

Australia is like the land of Oz - many strange things occur here...

1. Worlds slowest most inefficient Internet service. (Billions wasted on Fibre to suburbs and country - but nothing done about Chinese-owned undersea cable choking traffic to literally world's slowest rates - literally!
   Constantly targeted by scammers and sub-human ransomware and other destructive types, in Oz one needs some protection to "work" on the Net -not just play.

SO: Using the magic of VBox allows me to create throwaway operating system installs on my Win10 PC.
UNFORTUNATELY, only old Windows XP works successfully for me as the Virtual operating system.
(Due to a slight disability I need to stay with Windows in order to use Dragon voice-to-text program)

I now use Opera exclusively in the Host - faster, smarter, better. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to install in VBox - despite having Windows XP there and other Browsers.

When I try to Download and install from Opera, it fails and simply reboots the VBox.

Which version of Opera? The last version that works on XP (or Vista) is 36, you can download it from their FTP site here.

I can't access OPERA Site via VBOX in Opera.
Some security problem between VBOX and Opera's I.D. - like bad old days when Banks and secure Sites wouldn't accept Opera in Oz

Have no idea what this means!
Error message now in Firefox trying to use DuckDuckGo Search to check d/load ex Opera???????

What is your system date set to? Most obvious would be if your computer is set to a date a couple of years ago, so that when it sees a certificate with an issue date of 2016 it says the date doesn't make sense.
