I'm seeking some in-depth help on solving a perennial problem with running Dragon speech-to-text outside of Microsoft products. I am actually dictating directly into the opera forums here with only the one perennial problem:
if I have to correct an error as per the example on the next line:
Mary had a little lamb and all the doctors fainted. Which should have read Mary had a little orangutan. Have a look at what happens when I correct it: Mary had a little orangutan and all the doctors fainted.No problem here, but when I do the same correction in Libre OpenOffice, this is what I get: Mary had a littleOrangutanand all the doctors fainted.

Aside from this longshot request for help here, based solely on the higher level of intelligence to be found with Opera users, I also just want to say that the free VPN service works really well.

I can't access OPERA Site via VBOX in Opera.
Some security problem between VBOX and Opera's I.D. - like bad old days when Banks and secure Sites wouldn't accept Opera in Oz

Which version of Opera? The last version that works on XP (or Vista) is 36, you can download it from
their FTP site here.

Australia is like the land of Oz - many strange things occur here...

1. Worlds slowest most inefficient Internet service. (Billions wasted on Fibre to suburbs and country - but nothing done about Chinese-owned undersea cable choking traffic to literally world's slowest rates - literally!
   Constantly targeted by scammers and sub-human ransomware and other destructive types, in Oz one needs some protection to "work" on the Net -not just play.

SO: Using the magic of VBox allows me to create throwaway operating system installs on my Win10 PC.
UNFORTUNATELY, only old Windows XP works successfully for me as the Virtual operating system.
(Due to a slight disability I need to stay with Windows in order to use Dragon voice-to-text program)

I now use Opera exclusively in the Host - faster, smarter, better. Unfortunately, I cannot get it to install in VBox - despite having Windows XP there and other Browsers.

When I try to Download and install from Opera, it fails and simply reboots the VBox.

Hope someone at Opera Tech looks into this... quickly.

Amazing that nobody on the Community Opera knew about this when I complained about missing it from Firefox!

Hi people,
Since switching over to Opera from Firefox I have been pretty impressed with how far it has come.
Enough so that I want to continue using it!

A couple of small things that I would appreciate other migrants help with:

1. QuoteURLtext. Is an old and a very useful "clipper" for getting brief but meaningful information from a webpage.
2. I'm sure there must be a way to edit the size of the boxes in the very useful Opera Start Page.
3. How do we alter the layout of the Tab Bar and components we add to it?

Yes, I know the information is probably in there somewhere, but I am under a fair bit of time pressure at the moment and although I will keep searching and learning any pointers will be appreciated.

For what it's worth, I am using the fantastic program called Dragon NaturallySpeaking (for converting voice to text directly), an amazing package that I can no longer do without.
This has created the only real annoyance so far in my change over to Opera: I have to use an in between program (Dictation Box) to actually insert the text.
If there happens to be another Dragon user out there who has solved this, I'd be extra grateful!

So, it isn't just me!
Where is Opera's own email program?

J BTW: for some reason I had a lot of trouble getting my security accepted on Opera.
Even here on the help page it took me until this afternoon (several hours coming and going work) to finally be able to
post a message here??
I finally gave up and worked with Good old Gmail....
