      (windows 8.1 user)
This is a new problem. Start after Opera upgrade itself. When I am in the incognito window I want to open bookmarks. But when I press the heart button for this it didn't open in the incognito window, it opened in a new normal window automatically. Previously just "settings" was opened just like that. But now "bookmarks" too. I want to open bookmarks in the incognito window. But I can't find any setting for this. For me this is a problem. Please can you solve? , this is very unpractical and nonsense. Why changed this like that?

Been reported before; check if a solution was mentioned in the other threads or if you have to wait for an update (though perhaps today's update fixed it?)

@handanece This is how it works now, internal pages don't open in private windows.

Which is just ridiculous. What good is private mode if you can't use it.

In another thread, a user said that if you enter the URL chrome://startpage/bookmarks myway (where "myway" is any text you want) in a private window, bookmarks will open up in the private window.

Which just goes to show you how "can't open internal pages in private mode" is a load of donkey dung.
If you can open it one way, you should be able to open it the other way.

@nunya I'm sure that way will be blocked eventually too.

@leocg I can understand for some internal pages like "settings", "history". But "bookmarks"? We should be able to open it with its button. If we can't use opera's properties in private mode than what's the point for use this mode? It's useless. Opera has to fix that. With some stupid upgrades Opera will start to lose users. And it's not an upgrade, it's literally degrade.

The entire point of a web browser is the internet - aka, webpages.
If you can''t open it in private mode, why bother having private mode.

@nunya we are not talking about web pages.
