View image extension

Hi,
i know there is a view image extension for Chrome and Firefox which bring back the "view image" button in google images.

Is there a similar extension for Opera? I tried several but none of them seemed to work.

@bupthebroker You are looking for an extension that will add the "search image in Google graphics" option to the context menu, I understand You well? If yes, this extension works. You can have shortcuts to many search engines or set only one of them (eg Google).

My proposals for changes in Opera (Google Document).

thanks for the comment, it was not quite what i was looking for.

Some time ago google removed the "view image" button from image search, there is an extension for chrome that can bring it back:

@bupthebroker ok, now I know what's going on. I've tried a few extensions and in fact no one works. But is such an option necessary at all? Do not just click on the image and choose "Open image on a new tab"?

@jojo0587 If you do that then you will often get the small size preview image or will be redirected to the page instead. The "view image" button always fetched the full size image.

Probably there isn't one or nobody knows one.
Did you try searching for one in the extensions store? Did you try using the one for Chrome, if it exists?

Also note, you will need to go to the Extensions page and allow the extension to work on search results.

Hi, first install TamperMonkey then give it these 2 permissions:

• "Allow access to search page results"
• "Allow access to file URLs"

then install this script:

• https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/38953-google-image-view-image-button/feedback

and you're good to go

I have the Chrome one and have it set to access search results and is working fine for now.

So the solution is to use Chrome instead of Opera?
