Opera notification requests bugged?

Each time I open a new tab opera requests notification alerts. If I click Deny it will still open every time, if I click Allow it does nothing, and the request still appears on the same websites no matter what. Sometimes they freeze on certain websites and I can't get them to disappear, the request just stays there forever.

Using a Windows 10 Opera

You could turn it off universally, if you don't use them.

Copy this address and paste it into the address bar:

opera://settings/content/notifications

At the top where it says Ask, turn it off. Simple as that.

Try resetting your settings. Also try with a clean profile.

If you disabled notifications then it is a message from the website, not from Opera as such. Not sure you can do anything about that.

You're saying that when you open a new tab where it loads the start page with your speed dials on it, Opera is asking you? Or, are you talking about when you go to a particular site?
