Under the "Bookmarks" drop-down menu I have Bookmarks Bar and Other Bookmarks. Can they be combined somehow, so that I don't have have to search two places for the bookmark I'm looking for?

You can move the bookmarks in one place into the other, so they will be together in one place.

@sgunhouse Can you please be more specific. I do not see a bookmark manager in the Bookmarks pull down menu.

On the menu is a listing for Bookmarks, though you can get to the same page by clicking the heart icon in the sidebar on the left.

I don't mean to seem obtuse, but I still don't understand how to either delete "Other Bookmarks" from under the Bookmarks menu or combine "Other Bookmarks" with BookmarkBar from the Bookmark menu. Since some of mine bookmarks are under "Other Bookmarks" and others ended up under "Bookmarks Bar" I have to search both lists sometimes to find the one I want. I need them all in one pull-down menu.

Go the the bookmarks page and then copy/move the bookmarks between folders.

I have a similar problem. I had to change from Safari to Opera. I asked to import bookmarks and settings, but it moved all settings in a folder, I now have about 6 folders called Bookmark Bar each in it's own Safari folder.
Can anyone help me. I really only want one folder.
It can be done by Opera, but forgot which part of Opera I read it on ?

I can't drag bookmarks around like I can in Chrome. Is there some preference I need to update in Opera on Mac?
