Opera 56: How to enable bookmarks buttons highlighting in the bookmarks bar?

This feature dissapeared since Opera 56 update. Please revert it back or add a function to switch on/off

Highlighting when ... you do what? Hover them, click them, visit the page, ... what? Also, do you use dark theme?
With dark theme, the background does get a little lighter when you hover a bookmark or folder - but only a little. Might actually have worked better if they made it darker instead of lighter.

Hello - My Opera isn't forming the "bubble" it used to when the mouse was clicked on any of the favorites placed on the favorite's bar. Why is that? May it be corrected? Thank you.

I'm sorry, I searched the forum and did not find an answer for the highlighting issue. I saw 4 questions and 1 answer stating that other users had the same problem, but nowhere I could see the solution for the mentioned problem. Could you be so kind and repeat your answer? Thank you.

The highlighting in dark theme is so minimal, it's virtually invisible!
