Outlook mail opening tabs in Opera

loopy1945 last edited byThe last couple of days I have had an issue with Outlook opening a new tab in Opera and then another small sign in window.
I don't use Outlook and this thing is driving me crazy. It's almost constant. It doesn't seem to be happening in Chrome or Edge but don't use Edge enough to be sure.

Goto the URL
opera://extensions. Disable all extensions there to see if that helps. If it does, you'll have to test which extension is causing the problem.Goto the URL
opera://settings/content/cookiesand click "see all cookies and site data". Type live.com in the search field there and choose "remove all shown". Do the same for outlook.com.Open a private window and try things there.

It's a valid address. You get there when you go to outlook.office.com

Well that was easy....lol. I disabled all the extensions and noticed one there for Outlook Speed dial which I have never used. I turned that one back on right away and all the tabs started opening again. I disabled it and then deleted it. Will be interesting to see if it comes back. I know I didn't put it there.Thanks for your help. Much appreciated

Glad you got it. You might want to change your password just in case that extension snatched it.
