I have site zoom=90% in settings. Recently it started not working properly (first in Opera beta, so I ignored), but now in Opera Stable (54.0) too.
The page is set as 90% zoom, but actually it displayed as 100%, so I need to press Ctrl++ (zoom is set to 100% and the page did not increased) and then Ctrl+0 (zoom is set correctly to 90% and the page view synchronized with it.)

It's difficult to reproduce it, because the problem appears once in 20 times.

Look at How to report problems in Opera.

        For the clean profile:

        • Opera Help > Crashes and issues.
          | - And rename the profile folder -.

        --
I have 110% and didn't noticed any changes.

@kirilkov Do you have "Show tab preview" enabled in Settings? If yes, then try disabling it and testing. If problem doesn't occur anymore, then I have a similar bug and they said it is already fixed internally.

I would suggest, the Opera extension called Zoom Slider. Been using it for years. It's never failed me.

This extension just shows or set the zoom set by Opera. But this does not fix the problem itself

Does it keep the Zoom on Websites?

Did you changed the SpeedDial Zoom?
As I have seen, Opera internal pages shares any custom Zoom.

Thanks for this post. I also met this problem and it's really annoying!!
I'm using a high DPI screen so the default scaling is actually 150% (zoom setting is 100% though). Every time the web pages jump back to actual 100% scaling and I have to adjust them one by one.

And this still hasn't been fixed.

That one zoom extension is very good. Site & page specific zoom settings..

With Opera's default zoom it would be helpful if at least the zoom would be in always visible and easy to reach location.

So that one extension is good with features & reachability - but like so many extensions it has Google analytics in it... Can't we even zoom without spying??

This and many more reasons it would be good to have basic non-troublesome functionality from get go - by the browser.
