Tried Opera on another pc → no problem
Disable "Use hardware acceleration when available" in settings → problem solved
So I guess this relates to hardware. I'm using GeForce GTX 970M and driver version 430.64.

Same here. This also happens when the video plays in background tabs.
I think this problem appears just in recent two or three stable versions. - Opera for Windows

RE: General Opera One Appearance Feedback TopicAppearance
What's going on with the gaps and spacing all over the interface? Generally a laptop only has a display between 13 to 17 inches. Can we make good use of it?

RE: Eleven Stable Releases In A Month "Enough Is Enough"Opera for Windows
At least two of these releases had fatal errors that affect my daily usage and it's good to receive immediate updates to fix them.
But after all this is the Stable Release. Recent updates are anything but stable.

RE: Website Custom ZoomOpera for Windows
@andrew84 said in Website Custom Zoom:
@kirilkov Do you have "Show tab preview" enabled in Settings? If yes, then try disabling it and testing. If problem doesn't occur anymore, then I have a similar bug and they said it is already fixed internally.
Thanks for this post. I also met this problem and it's really annoying!!
I'm using a high DPI screen so the default scaling is actually 150% (zoom setting is 100% though). Every time the web pages jump back to actual 100% scaling and I have to adjust them one by one.And this still hasn't been fixed.

RE: Opera Coast 3.0 for iPhone and iPadOpera Coast
I want to know how does the browser decide the search engine(Google or Baidu)?
I'm using Simplified Chinese as system language and I'm at HK. When I first installed and used Coast on my iPhone, the UI is Chinese, of course, and the search engine is Google, which I'm quite used to. Then the second day I opened the browser, the search engine changed to Baidu (I think the website suggestions also changed from international websites to more Chinese websites).
Since I can use Google without any connection problem, a default search engine like Baidu is really annoying and usually not useful at all. Also now on Coast if you start a search from the search bar with Baidu, it will show you a PC view of Baidu.com, but not the mobile view.
I'm curious that why it suddenly changed the default search settings? Besides, any setting or function can be simplified, but please let us decide which search engine to use.
