I know I can add extensions from Chrome Web Store on Opera for Windows.
Can I install extensions from Chrome Web Store on Opera for Mac as well?
Can I add apps on Opera from the Mac app store?

@fabiopuntillo As far as I know, extensions doesn't differentiate OS so you should be able to install them on Opera for Mac.

Opera doesn't support apps.

Note that to install Chrome extensions you would need to install the Install Chrome Extension for Opera first.

@sgunhouse Hi Newe to forums. Used Opera on macbook/imac for some time. Great stable product.

Just installed a Chromecast on tv and activated with iphone using google home.

Macbook pro - want to view videos and other content on tv - installed Opera developer 54 and Play for Chromecast ( also activated Chromecast in Browser preferences.

cannot download cast from google as its no longer available.

Advice please on using Opera dev to cast from macbook pro to TV

@russellm You don't need an extension to use Chromecast with Opera.

@leocg Thanks for that, so clicking, or double clicking on the Opera caste top right of the toolbar does not activate anything. What am I missing in terms of operation of this feature, cannot find any help function dealing with casting. advice please
