How to delete spam or filtered messages automatically?

I have spam filters for email, I have a filter for people I've killfiled in newsgroups, but how do I make the messages actually get deleted automatically so they're not still sat there in a folder tempting me to look at them?

@hucker Opera Mail? I'm not sure if it's possible, I remember there was limitations for the actions that could be done by filters.

Automatically? No. If you right-click on the Spam folder there is a "Move Spam to Trash" option on the menu; that's the best available in Mail (and yes, you still have to empty Trash).
