Won't save password.

On one site, http://www.cbc.ca/news, Opera will not offer to save the email and password.

This is the only site that this happens on.

Has anyone else had this problem and how did you fix it?

I'll wait for some replies and then file a bug report.

There are some sites that request your browser not save passwords there - though I'm not sure why a television website would do so ...

In old Opera, there was as setting where you could tell it to ignore such requests. There may be in the current version also, but as I'm not at my computer I can't check. So all I can say is, it probably isn't a bug but there may be a way around it.

I've been doing some experimenting ...

For that particular site, IE asks to save the email and password, as does Firefox.

Opera and Chrome do not.

I'll keep on researching this.

Have you tried opera://flags#enable-autofill-ignore-autocomplete-off?

Don't know if it affect login fields.

That's the only setting I could find also.

The forum does not recognize opera:// urls, so you'll need to cut and paste - or highlight and choose Go to web address.

leo and sgunhouse ...Tried that but no luck.

Also tried to enable auto-save password, but again didn't work.

Not a big deal. I can live with it.

I'd rather not use another password manager application because of security concerns.
