cshane last edited by cshaneGreetings, I have spent many hours over many days trying to figure out why magnet links didn't work at The Pirate Bay website. I have figured it out, and I want to share my findings. To examine the link, I launched the Developer Tools (ctrl + shift + i) and clicked the Select an Element (ctrl + shift + c) button. At The Pirate Bay website, I tried to click the "GET THIS TORRENT" link. The Problem
The link is partially covered by an invisible iFrame: Cause
The Pirate Bay website. Also, for some reason it only surfaces when using Opera's rendering engine (Blink). It doesn't affect Chrome.Work-Around
Click on the part of the link that is showing ("...RENT").I'm using Opera 49.0. I hope this helps. Shane. Windows 10 Home 64-bit

A Former User last edited by@sgunhouse said in Magnet Link Problem: @cshane Apparently they don't like Opera's ad-blocker, as Chrome also uses Blink. i don't think it's a adblocker problem cause i have both the opera and "ublock plus adblock".

It's not an adblocker problem. If you view the source of the page (ctrl + u), you will see this line: <iframe src="//thepiratebay.org/static/si0Eim0u/exo_na/sky1.html" width="120" height="600" frameborder="0" scrolling="no"></iframe> This is the line that is causing the problem.
