Searching with Google (address bar or google.com): Captchas or full block

Google has become very frustrating to use with Opera/VPN. Much of the time I either need to slog through several select-all-images-with-roads captchas, or get blocked straight away ("We're sorry, but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can't process your request right now.") This may or may not be related to the fact that Google thinks I'm in the Ukraine, though I never have this problem with Opera/VPN for iOS.

@sgunhouse Is it Opera VPN specifically, or any VPN? Either way, changing address bar search to Bing works for now.

Google is probably seeing several requests coming from the same server(s) and thinking that it may be some bot and, therefore, is asking people to prova that they are human beings.
It's something that may happen with those using a proxy/VPN.
i can't speak for others but i have opera's vpn set for canada and i no longer have the issue.
