for an answer that i would have thought would be on here.
i seem to have no way of modifying ( specifically deleting, search engines.
also, whenever i start opera the first search engine i go to will be yahoo when my preference is google or duckduckgo).
i have sought info with no joy. anyone on here got advice?

There are two kinds of search engines - those provided with the browser, and those you add yourself. The ones provided with the browser can't be modified.
