New Opera Neon - concept browser

Hi,
I really like opera neon. I've already set it as primary browser because I like innovation and I like the interface. It's sweet and it has some nice features. But since it's new, I have some suggestions:
-
First of all: I think that some people (like me) need adblock in their life, so add-ons are a must. I hope this will be available soon.
-
I like the idea with the circle tabs, but I think it's kinda messy because of the (live?) screenshots that are displayed in the big circles. I think that just the big pictogram like messenger, facebook, etc...would be better. Although, in some situations it does look nice, for ex. YouTube. But now, the titles are kinda small and not really clear. I have the intension to open a tab that's already open because I don't see it immediately.
-
Their should be a + button for tabs under the tabs because it's kinda strange to look at your tabs and thinking 'hey i want a new tab" and then you need to go all the way to the left side. Okay, this looks kind of exaggerated, but IRL this takes time.
-
I think that the white bar on top takes away the beauty about the design. It takes away the focus of the real page. But maybe this one is only me...
-
I like the idea of adding circle tabs to the home screen, but it kinda sucks that you can't drag them around. I kinda like having a static place for a tab so I can easily access them. Also, I don't really like that sites that you visit a lot also pin on the home screen. Maybe some people do but I think the screenshots aren't so pretty of the sites and the other clear items do.
I think this are my top concers about Opera Neon, it's really nice but these changes would make it my real primary browser because now i'm doubting to go back to chrome since it's less playful making it faster in general. Sorry, if there are a lot mistakes in my text. English is not my first language.
Please, share your thoughts on this, have a nice day
Gr Lucas

Same as the rest above. I really do love the user interface and the physics feedback. The only thing I need right now is adblock support, then I'm golden

Its great but can only import settings from IE? Why not from Opera itself? Quite hard to adopt that as a full time browser if I need to remake my speed dial and retype all my passwords.

Shame it won't get updates because it's a damn good browser. I find myself using it more than the main Opera Browser when I intend to do fast and casual browsing, that is, not intending to have a lot of tabs opened.
Splendid concept browser.

Thank God there are absolutely no bugs in the regular Opera browser so the devs have free time for a fun project
Seriously: I hope the snapshot tool and the split screen will be ported to the regular Opera browser

Hey y'all.
I've been using neon since it came out, and really really enjoy it.
However, As of today, if I open it, it almost instantly crashes time and time again.
Similar post, https://forums.opera.com/post/113913 so I don't feel super alone.
any fix? / Known issue?

If I could import my bookmarks and passwords from Opera Beta it would be my default browser. That said, it's impressive.

Opera Neon is nice! So, If Opera Software will keep to develop this browser, I think this browser needs Ad-Block feature.
And Japanese Tech Media said "Opera Software will add some features of Opera Neon to Opera Browser". If this is true, I think Opera Software should to add Player Panel to Opera Browser! Because this feature is so nice and useful! Specially stop and play feature. Because When I do net-surfing with listening favorite music or podcast or video, I want to stop. Not mute. Because I can listen from stopping point again!
If Opera Software will add "Player" panel to Opera Browser, I think it is good to add this feature to Tab Menu.

Ok, It's time for a new Neon release since this release already expired.....
Btw, how about kill the regular Opera for PCs and stick only with Neon? It would be nice... People are tired of the old Chrome look...

There won't be any.
And why is that?
Now that's what I call a malicious tease..... C'mon Opera..

I really like the concept, so I'd like to share some impressions:
- I love that the menu and the tabs are vertical. Since a lot of sites just having empty space on the vertical edges anyway this makes a lot of sense to me.
- The new tab button really need to be near the tab list (or at least duplicated there).
- The two pane view is great, but I would like a quick way to choose in which pane a tab opens when I click it. I think an intuitive way would be for left click to open it in the left pane and right click in the right.
- The media player is fantastic. Love the always on top floating video option.
- I like how the design uses my desktop background as the background.
So good job on the concept. I hope it is developed further, and/or that opera moves in this direction. If this browser had extensions I would switch to it in an heartbeat.

If Opera don't release it, someone will take this concept and release it for good.... and then.....

this is my new favorite browser. 10/10. useful and minimalist.
I concur. Browsing the net used to be a chore, now it is an experience!
