      Rename your profile folder. If the problem goes away then there is something wrong with your profile. A new, empty one should have been created so copy your bookmarks and such over to it.

      So if I don't copy my bookmarks and such, I will lose everything?

          If you just rename the profile folder, your data will still be there so you can recover it later.

          The idea is to test if the problem is being caused by a bad profile or not.

          Now Opera developer is freezing.

            I haven't done the clean profile yet. I'm still thinking about whether or not I should do it, because if I decide to, I fear that I will lose my bookmarks.

                      Opera is now back to freezing up again. I have tried rebooting the computer and restarting the browser with no luck. Now I am getting nothing but a message saying that Opera is unresponsive and it is asking me if I would like to relaunch now.

                          I started experiencing very slow initial load time for Opera, and checked Windows Error logs for detail. Here's what I found in the Microsoft Windows Diagnostic Performance/Operational log:

                                    Now, Opera developer is no longer working anymore. It did work for a few seconds before it started freezing up again.
