<![CDATA[Opera and Opera developer now freezing]]>Every single time I open either Opera or Opera developer, it always seems to want to freeze up. I have tried closing out both browsers, but those don't seem to be working at all. Instead, I get nothing but messages saying that Opera has stopped responding and asking me to relaunch now or the browser is not responding. This never used to happen before and I have no clue why it's not working now.

And what happens if you disable it?

So what was the result with 'Webroot SecureAnywhere' disabled?

No such luck. Opera developer is still freezing up.

I think it's anti-virus software.

I get the impression that you're suffering from a DNS related problem which affects the browsers. Have you tried other browsers at your disposal to see if that caused issues as well?
Also: what start page do you use? Does it open a specific page or something?

I wonder if that's what is causing the problems. Won't be surprised if it's the answer.
