I have 2 versions of Opera plus 3 other browsers. Why should I try to disable the ad-blocker for Opera 38?

Because there is a chance that it may be causing the issue?

Opera may believe the login window is either an ad or popup. Click on the blue shield in the address bar; in the panel that appears click on the switch. Mind you, it had no apparent change other than the cursor changed to a "busy" cursor, after about a minute I reloaded the page and the button now worked.

At the right of the address bar. If you are not seeing it then probably you don't have Opera ad-blocker enabled.

So I don't have an ad-blocker enabled, the site works everywhere but Opera 38. I wonder where the fault is?

I have no problems clciking on "Sign In/Register" button, even when adblock is enabled. Dev Opera (40.0.2280.0) here. Have you Turbo or VPN enabled by chance?

No Turbo, no VPN. I've just tried the Opera 40 and that worked for me. So the fault is in Opera 38........

I've tried with 38 and 40 and the button worked fine on both.

Maybe cleaning the cache can help.

When I tried it in 38, it didn't work until I clicked on the blue shield as described. Can't say more than that.
