I do not want favicons. Maybe that would not matter, since I locked the Favicons file in the profile, so none get saved anyway? I tried removing the update line in manifest.json in the extension setup in the profile. Would that not stop the updates?

I allow most sites to use javascript. For a few sites that I do not want using it, I make exceptions in the Preferences. That works.
