If I enable/disable options on the settings page, it doesn't save the changes that I made. I've tried every possible way that I know that could do the trick (including the instructions about this written at 'Help'), but somehow it just won't work for me.

Everything works for me. I would just appreciate that export/import would be a little simpler. I would prefer that it would download .json file, because every time I copy paste from export the format changes and it then does not let me import it back. Otherwise it's a great addon. It does miracles.
