pleasantly suprised today : I downloaded the new opera 10.0 from the google store and opera is fullscreen again (and seems faster) 🙂

(this was on my "old" android 4.2 galaxy mega)

(I don t know why my opera 7.6 was not upgraded automatically though ... I think I missed sthg somewhere)

Hi @olasia, it happened very often when I surfing the Facebook page using Opera Mini. Every 10-15 minutes, it backs to login page and I had to re-login.

I think it's already solved now and I'm no longer experiencing this issue.

The only reason why am sure the speed dial are from operator.... is because I have a dual sim phone... when I use either one to connect to the Internet.. I get different speed dials...

Just seen a fix in The opera mini 11 beta 1 post... Try it out

Further information.

I am looking at the BB10 file system using Ghost Commander.

After uninstall of Opera Mini 10, there is still a left-over folder (/mnt/sdcard/Android/data/com.opera.mini.native). It looks to be empty, has NO PERMISSIONS SET (r-w-x are empty) and cannot be opened or deleted (PERMISSION DENIED).

Is this the reason for the crash after first run? A folder permissions issue?
Where are offline pages located?

To see the files, your phone needs to be rooted.

Opera team has never ever bothered adding the option to Opera Mini to save webpages to SD card ever since Opera Mini was first released for Android.

So when we uninstall Opera Mini or move to another phone, the saved webpages are gone forever. In my opinion, the Saved Web pages feature in Opera Mini for Android should go, unless they can offer the option to save them to SD card.

Only the Java version of Opera Mini has, and presently enjoys this feature.
Why Opera Mini doesn't support Android emoji?

could you please bring back Bookmarks to the big red O menu , now for me to access Bookmarks i have to leave my current page and go to the main page and press Bookmarks folder previously I could access the bookmarked page without losing my current page/tab,also i noticed that thumbnails for bookmarked pages are no longer appearing .

Opera Mine Beta is now using over 35 MB of space while Opera Mini stays clearly below 10 MB. Opera (Classic) has only 60.

I am using a S60v5 device. Opera Mini loads faster on the handler version with Iceland servers and Normal version takes more time to load. But on android devices never seen such delay on Opera Mini on the same 2G network.

SurfEasy, an Opera company. So these are Opera preset dials, something like http://www.opera.com/o/default-speeddials as for Opera Mini 4.0. However shouldn't show up so often, usually after connection reset or network test.

Where does it say the info is used to identify you? Where does it say Opera sells that data for example? ...

If you don't want to have data compression, Opera for Android with Turbo disabled is the right product not Mini.
