My Opera ended a couple of years ago.

I have Opera for Android, but I don't see a option for email.

Opera doesn't have a built-in email client and most probably won't have one.

How can I check my email on my phone?

Use Gmail, Outlook or any email application of your choice.

I used Adblock Mobile — ad-free experience on your Phone! for that purpose but since it was removed from the appstore , and now I dont trust it anymore.

You probably pressed the delete button...
You can try a recovery program... no guarantees here. Google Android data recovery and you'll come up with several different free downloads.

Very true, i havent seen the redraws with other browsers, Google chrome is ment to be light weight and compatible for all devices, there is opera flags you could try.

This is one function that kills android.

Google chrome added this option on ios but not on android.

Opera could add this option since they added pull down to refresh, unless its a patent issue?.

Same problem here with an Asus fonepad type K0004. Android version 4.1.2. Opera version 36.2.2126.102826

Now back to the standard Android browser after the latest update didn't solve problem.
