Open Opera and navigate to the page you want to set as your browser home page, click on the + button and then click on Add to Home Page. An icon is now added to your device's home page, click on this, Opera opens up and goes to your browser Home Page.
Setting the user agent string for one so every website doesn't think you are mindless bot. Oh wait it's so Opera can be it's awesome self and you don't have to look at squashed pages with graphics overlapping or covered up links etc. Them you can actually allow the browser to do it's job.
Does Chrome support extensions on Android? Opera is based on Chrome now ... so if Chrome can't support extensions on a certain platform, then Opera can't either.
Dont think you can change storage folder for Opera for Android(without logging on as root), because of this i think is just a waste space on a Android device. I have used Opera as my main browser for 15 years, I will most likely end my Opera use as i think this should be easy "fix" but Opera jut dont bother. I am quite mad and I have been known for fight lost causes, I also boycott websites that use Adobe Flash because Adobe make Flashplayer for Android.
I do hope that people follow my lead, then things may change.
Leo, not a clue, but my O32 Mobile saves logins etc just like the Desktop does, I think this is a bug and should be fixed. I'm almost positive that with earlier versions of Mobile, O DID remember my sync login data.
As @sgunhouse says either check the blog or the forums, for each release we will always update the forums with the list of new features. We post blog posts when we got significant changes in the release.
In the new Opera 32 it's now possible. First, go to your page in Opera and click the plus button in the address bar. Then click the 'Add to home screen' button and add the page to your home screen. An icon will be added to your home screen with the title you entered, this page will take you directly to your home page.
an antivirus that interacts with your browser is pointless on android.
any potential malware would have to go through the package installer to install itself, which is where it's already checked by any antivirus you might be running or the "verify apps" feature of the Google play services.
There is some news? When would it be realized? I want to use mobile Opera but I can't. It has totally uncomfortable microscopic font size on HD screens. Scaling can't replace font size changing. And a lot of sites (facebook like) could not be scaling.
PS. Another lack of Opera is closing tabs on exit. It's not comfortable too.
I found out it is possible to place folders on the Speed Dial page, so I put all my folders in my Bookmarks on theSpeed Dial page, and synced my tablet to that, now I have all my BMs on the Speed Dial page, in folders, which is how my Bookmarks used to show under the Bookmark icon on the Speed Dial page.
It's too bad the Bookmark function is broken on my tablet for Opera,
