Opera 30 sudden spike of background data

I use Opera 30.0.1856.93524 on Huawei Honor 3C.
Yesterday i suddenly my Opera experience a spike of background data, almost 10GB large! I didnt download anything ,i didnt stream anything. Heck, i barely even used my phone. This same exact thing happened to me and now I'm throttled. I am so angry at Opera. I cannot afford to restart my data plan and there is no way that I looked at 4 gigs of webpages in 2 days.

Hard to say what's cooking, for some reason Opera is faster now but I've got some connectivity problems with Google servers so perhaps something is wrong on their side. Afaik data management doesn't depend on browsers.
