I tried it on Ubuntu (18.04.2 LTS) and it works as desired. So it may well be a macos specific issue.
In fact, I believe that, in macos, the app code may need to specifically direct change-window-focus clicks to the app if it wishes the app to act on the click beyond the change of window focus.
Obviously possible though, given Chrome, Firefox and Safari all do it.
I am running macos 10.14.4 (Mojave).
Steps to reproduce:
Start typing any URL you frequently visit so it autocompletes.
For example, typing "go" autocompletes to google.com/maps.
When I hit ctrl+enter after typing "go", I expect to be taken to go.com.
Instead, the autocomplete takes priority and I am taken to google.com/maps.
If you type "go" and then backspace to remove autocomplete, hitting ctrl+enter will take you to go.com.
This is counter to the behavior of Chrome, Firefox, Edge, and Internet Explorer which all take you to go.com regardless of autocomplete.
If the top bar followed the OS theme, that would be good. I'm quite sad that while this theme is OK on Windows 10, if I use any creative theming on Linux, Opera doesn't follow any of that, the CSD (minimize, maximize, close buttons) look terribly out of place.
@inzuccio85 said in opera with chromecast optimized mirroring:
i would like to use chromecast optimized mirroring with opera but seems that google cast extension in opera have not that feature , i still see video in both screen , but optimized mirroring cast in google chrome is perfect to cast without interruptions
Managed to find a thread on here telling me how to revert to version 58. Everything in my world is happy again!
Lots of other threads out there complaining about what you've done Opera.....please pay attention to them!
@PavelBal On the desktop, you go to 'other speed dials' and copy the entries from there to 'speed dial' to populate the desktop speed dial.
In the same place you can copy your desktop speed dials to your phone.
Thank you very much, I found the setting for promoted speed dials.
Shame about the sidebar thing, It would of been an awesome feature to have since I basically frequent speed dial index like every couple minutes I'm on PC. Thanks anyway though.
