  I think you have to install the font on the system, and I also think it has to be a ttf or woff file. What file is it you have? If you have an other file type, you can probably convert the file with some on-line tool.

  In ubuntu you can just double click ttf-files to install them. Then it will be available in css without specifying a directory.

  The standalone Opera Mail is an unfinished and buggy product. It's just Opera 12 with some preferences disabled/hidden, a new importer, and a few UI tweaks to hide the browser parts and make it mail-only.

  You can just use the Opera Mail that's built into Opera 12 and add/set the http and https protocols under "advanced -> programs" in preferences if you want links in messages to open up in a certain browser.

  Silver light shouldn't be needed. There's been a post before about getting Opera to use the system version of libffmeg to get H.264 support. Netflix at least also requires widevine support, but I believe that comes with Opera now ...

  In some versions of Opera/Chrome it has worked as expected. My version of Synergy has never changed. This effects no other software. I realize that's not definitive, but all the available evidence seems to point to WebKit.

  That is really an old version, can't you upgrade? The problem is probably than Opera requires newer versions of those packages (libstdc++, libnotify etc), packages that Fedora 12 doesn't have. So if you can't upgrade I guess you have to download those libraries manually. Test this command for example:

  yum provides libstdc++.so.6

  If it is available in some package, install it.

  @sergiy9: Try to install all these packages: flashplugin-installer, pepperflashplugin-nonfree and adobe-flashplugin. Then try to run ´sudo update-flashplugin-nonfree --install´. Restart Opera, and see if it works.

  No need to move files manually.

  to see all changed zoom levels, click Manage exceptions next to page zoom

  Thanks. I went back to the "learn more" and now see that. My eyes went to the section that started with the bold letters regarding mouse gestures and there was nothing there about using the right button. Then I looked above that line and there it was. Suggestion: put that statement below the bold line.

  I've done quick research and you can't remove default search engines, maybe not a big deal if there wasn't 'y' letter used by me for youtube occuped by yahoo.

  You know what? I'm done again. I've spend a lot of time to configure it for my need and it's not possible. Only thing that really prevent people from using Opera is developers team. Their 'partners', or maybe money from them more important than users...

  there are many extensions but none of them can export settings, themes and so on. Export bookmarks is a common thing, but beyond that it is difficult to find something. 😞

  Still fiddling around trying to get rid of the murk. Even tried extracting the picture, lighting it up 20% with a slight contrast and saturation boost to compensate for the overlay. Still looks like poo. When you make your own theme there is no way to turn off the overlay BTW.
  That's way too sad as there were some nice themes that are all too dark now because they were made with earlier versions of Opera that don't have the overlay "feature".
  I guess in some cases the type could be hard to see previously but to trash all those nice themes for the couple that fall into that category. Tragic. Sometimes developers get too caught up in developing. sigh
  I downloaded Vivaldi from the original Opera guys that split off then things got different. So far I like it although it's still in beta.
