  @entomashadoll For me the difficult part is getting the libffmpeg-file.

  https://github.com/Ld-Hagen/fix-opera-linux-ffmpeg-widevine has a script doing it all for you; get the ligffmpeg and copy it to the right lcoation. You run it every time you update opera. Or you could try the snap-version (as wonghow suggests) or the flatpack-version. Mint prefers flatpaks to snaps, but my experience with the opera flatpak was not good.

  As long as you make a timeshift snapshot before changing anything you can always go back

  @ianpg can you attach a screenshot. What do you mean when you say there is no border? can you move the mouse to the border and see resize arrow?

  @raymerjacque because obviously you don't understand.
  It already has GTK and QT theme, it is styling. Drawing titlebar is not theming. Client side decorator has nothing to do with theming !
  Do some reading !
  GTK theme or not, does not affect client side decorator
  Only Opera has that border? is not a theme. Brave, and Chrome is the same, does not use titlebar.
  Brave, has option to set "classic" or "GTK" but does not affect the titlebar. Titlebar is a separate option in Brave.

  Also it seem i solve the problem.
  Not all themes are compatible with opera dark mode

  Currently i switched theme in Gnome tweaks to:

  Cursor: "Adwaita(default)" Icons: "Adwaita(default)" Shell: "Adwaita(default)" Legacy application: "Adwaita-dark" Everything return back to normal dark style

  Problem is solved.

  Opera does not seem to detect the Wayland Display on the other hand chromium works just fine.

  @greatgazoo215 I'm going to take a guess and presume you are using the Linux version of Opera rather than the Android version, and move your post there, as I'm not aware of a method to do anything about video on Android (though if you did install from the Play srore let me know).

  There are instruction here in the Opera for Linux forum on how to identify and install the correct package of Chromium codecs for your version of Opera. Is this an ARM based Chromebook or one of the Intel ones? Make sure the package matches your processor type, if 6you can't find it in your package manager.

  @yuki301 A number of sites seem to think that if your User agent mentions Linux then you're actually on some mobile device, so yes it could be the website. On the other hand, a user agent switcher might change that, if trying to get the site to fix their problem isn't working

  Did you check your opera settings ("Easy setup") that "block ads" are enabled?

  First, thanks for the reply. I did indeed do the setup correctly. I may have overlooked the possibility that the browser (maybe even the system) need to be restarted for all of it to take full effect. But the ads are being snuffed now.

  I just tried copying the extension address from Vivaldi and pasting it in Opera and it loads Group Speed Dial, so the extension works but something in Opera is causing it to crash on browser exit.

  EDIT:

  Seems like the default address created by Opera for GSD is the issue. It's different than what Vivaldi has. once I added the address from Vivaldi to Opera I went into Opera's settings and saved it along with Sonarr calendar and Goole as my start pages. When I closed and relaunched Opera I had all my GSD groups. I suggest leaving this thread here in case others run into this issue.
