Try --user-data-dir

Thanks, I will try this, but it appears that will move the cache, so I need to find a way to keep any caches on the local drive.

When you make the bookmark and are cycling through the available images you will note that one is a screenshot of the page itself. This screenshot is of whatever potion of the page you currently have visable. You can also use the mouse to drag the image around and zoom in on it (mouse wheel). Using this it is possible to to get a shot of just about anywhere on a page.

Thanks to both of you, I did try to do that yesterday but I think I hadn't properly worked out how to open the Local State file using a text editor so I didn't get anywhere. Having tried again today I worked how to do it properly and I believe I have solved the problem so thanks for your help.

Where Opera store the files of dictionary?

In the folder dictionaries under Opera's profile folder. But i guess the ones from Opera Presto will not work in Opera Blink.

I know its an older post, but if you still have the problem can you run InstalledCodec utility, and report back if you see any missing codec (marked with red) ?

The main reason for an update is for security flaws to be patched, keeping the browser as safe as possible.
Unfortunately, other things are often introduced as well as security fixes, which include changes to the way the user interface looks and works, and the changing or removing of facilities, which some users may have asked for, but other users may not like.
The problem with forced updates is that if you don't like a change that has been made, you have to jump through hoops to roll back to an earlier version and prevent it from updating itself again!
You are also left potentially with an unsafe version too of course.....

I tried to install from scratch (on other machine) Opera 12, then i putted wand.dat to profile directory, opera recognized all passwords, then i made an install of Opera 34 with importing all options, and still no luck, passwords not imported.

I sure there is a way of doing it, but how...
How do I export bookmarks?

Please read the Posting guide before posting.

It's up to Kaspersky to choose which browsers they will support so you need to contact them and ask for Opera support.

If that crashed your bookmarks and extensions, there is more wrong with your installation than just that flag setting. It was the 'generic', universal chrome/chromium method to save a page as MHTML.
