Often when using my PC I like to listen to BBC radio at the same time however when I go to the BBC website using Opera all I ever get is the 'Sound of Silence' 'Please try again later' this is clearly a problem with Opera because if I use Firefox instead the radio works fine. My problem is that I switched to using Opera because I was having constant problems with Firefox that made it almost unusable so although I can listen to the radio using Firefox I would rather not. When I do use Firefox it always takes a very long time to get started usually more than a few minutes so I often miss the start of what I want to listen to. While listening to the radio with Opera doesn't work at all watching BBC TV works fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions I have tried to find an answer on the BBC website but I have had no success so far, so I thought I'd try here.

Thanks to both of you, I did try to do that yesterday but I think I hadn't properly worked out how to open the Local State file using a text editor so I didn't get anywhere. Having tried again today I worked how to do it properly and I believe I have solved the problem so thanks for your help.

Similar questions have come up before but I haven't found an answer that works for me perhaps because I'm still using Windows Vista I don't know.

My problem is I installed Opera a few weeks and everything works fine except for the fact that my Google searchbox is for www.google.ie (Ireland) not www.google.co.uk is there any way I can change this because so far nothing I have tried has worked. It's not a huge issue because I've added google.co.uk as a site to my quick dial start page so I'll go to the google website for searching from now on. It's just very annoying that there doesn't seem to be an easy solution to such a simple and stupid problem. Does anyone know of an answer to this or should I just ignore the problem and just not use the search box anymore.
