At the URL opera://password-manager/passwords, you can delete an entry and then click "add" to manually add your own entry with the URL you want.

Known issue that's being worked on. It only happens when you have the sidebar set to autohide and only happens with the "Show popup with clipboard and recent downloads when uploading files" option enabled at the URL opera://settings/userInterface.

Well, I finally solved my missing passwords problem. It seems that my Opera version was out of date even tho it said it was the latest(for my Windows 7) OS.
While browsing another posting, there was a new link to download for W7. After download and install, ver 95.0.4635.90,
my password save manager now works.
I am a happy camper.
