Yes, we do read the forum. Thanks for very detailed report.

We've worked hard on fixing some of the issues last year. From our perspective the issues were toned down greatly. If you're experiencing the problems that frequently, then there must be something special. Thus, please answer following questions.

a) Do you use mobile or WiFi connection? If mobile, then what kind (2G, 3G, 4G), which operator and in which country?

b) Which Opera Mini app version you use?

c) Can you provide some specific links or webpages on which the issues are most severe?

d) Does your device frequently run out of memory (get very slow or kills background applications)?

@casperjack11: You're right. In Extreme mode Opera Mini downloads files up to 15MB. Bigger files are downloaded directly, without using Opera Mini servers.

In High mode I can see the mediafire.com prevents Opera Mini from downloading the file - there's redirection to the same webpage instead of file download. That can be because of IP address sniffing.

It works for me on few files from mediafire.com. Can you provide more details: specific URL (what's the file size?) and your mobile operator?

Now I'm downloading a file size of 53MB. & my current network connection is 10mbps wifi connection. But the following downloading speed is 13KBPS to 50KBPS. What the Hell is that? Why Opera Mini can't speed up the downloading speed?

For bigger files Opera Mini doesn't proxy the download, so the speed of your download does not depend on Opera Mini, but on revclouds.com, your ISP and your device.

@frozenjim1 Can you provide screenshot? Maybe you can turn off the mouse cursor and then the buttons will be clickable?

http://www.openjs.com/scripts/events/keyboard_shortcuts/ Scroll down to "live evaluation" and set up CTRL+U or CTRL+R in the code. You should see that the shortcut takes no effect and instead Opera's default action is executed.

No, I couldn't reproduce it with Opera Stable version 21.0.1432.67.

Have you modified shortcuts in your Preferences file?

@rainforest1155: can you provide an example webpage for testing this with other installs?

This bug is fixed in Opera Next, version 22.0.1471.16.

However there is different bug connected with "plugin click to play", visible on all browsers - the first time you try to play a movie on http://www.youtube.com, it fails. Reload helps.

As a workaround you can use experimental next Turbo version by enabling opera:flags#use-turbo2.

Sorry for us not reading the forum systematically.

We've just started working on this issue. There are two parallel ways to solve this bug: first is to fallback to non-off-road mode if our proxy server is unavailable. Second - to make the proxy available via contacts with ISPs or such.
