@andrew84 Obviously. And it's related to a recent Opera update because there were no other changes with my Windows theme. How else are we to report trouble like this so that they actually respond with a solution - or at least a hope of one?

A few days ago all the backgrounds for my "bubbles" for my Speed Dial buttons changed from dark to light (Note the red "X" in the attached screenshot). I'm using Opera's Dark theme, and the page background is dark - as it used to be. How do I change them back to dark?
Using:
Opera One(version: 115.0.5322.68)
Opera is up to date
Update stream:Stable
System:Windows 11 64-bit
Chromium version:130.0.6723.59

Is there a way to force dark theme for a single site? Maybe something like a "switch" at the end of a URL?

1. Most sites support Opera's Dark Theme seamlessly.
2. One of my regular sites doesn't support it unless I force dark theme.
3. Once I force dark theme, some sites that displayed dark theme OK before now are messed up.

I've read in an older thread (yes, they are sometimes helpful) that I can right-click on a page and see an option to enable or disable dark theme for that page. That seems to be the case only when force dark theme is enabled in settings.

@leocg Not quite - I have Excel files on my laptop, but would like to create a bookmark with a local link e.g. "file:///c:..."), but while I can use Opera with that format to drill down to the appropriate subfolder, when I click on a selected file it only prompts me to download it - not open it.

Maybe there's another extension or maybe a plugin available that I haven't found yet???

Is there a way to open Excel files from Opera on a Windows PC ?

I have several websites that I visit on a regular basis. How do I retain only their information and delete the rest when I clear cache, cookies, history, etc. when I close the browser?

The problem is that after the data is cleared, many sites require re-authentication - sometimes a notable inconvenience.

Is there anything that can be done to Opera to enable it to play CBS All Access videos?

Occurs on multiple Opera versions - including the latest release.
Chrome, Firefox, and even Edge work fine. This has been a longstanding issue for all Opera users. Since other browsers work, it's safe to assume that the trouble is not with the site..

I don't use an Alt key much on any website but one. The Right Alt key functions as expected, but the Left Alt key seems to be disabled.
This only occurs in Opera - not Firefox, Chrome, or Edge.
Alt key assignment is not listed in Opera's keyboard settings, so how do I get the Left Alt key to function in Opera IAW keyboard standards?

The update a few days ago (?) screwed up my Speed Dial page:

• Several items were deleted
• Most of the custom Icons reverted back to ugly, unuseful generic icons
• All my groupings were lost
• All my Sorting was scrambled
• Previously deleted unwanted default sites were restored.

It seems apparent that the developers didn't take a user's Speed Dial page(s) integrity into account. Please don't ignore it next time???
