That is foolish since users should not have website video and audio content forced on them. The next version of Opera should have a disabled video option.
Are you saying that the website that you listed is an exception to this rule that disables the video when the audio is disabled but this is not the case for most websites?

Website video and audio settings are enabled in Opera even when 'play' has not been clicked.
Step by step, how are video and audio autoplay disabled? .
There should be a way to do it within 'settings' but I am obviously missing something because I cannot see it for this version.
'Audio' turns the sound off but the 'video' would still be playing.
Why is there not a settings/content/video' option that turns video off the way that sound can be turned off? I am 'obviously' missing something,
I do not use Google Chrome so it is a moot point to find a solution for that browser.

As an addendum, if' an Opera Developer reads my thread, there are 'many' users who continue to use Win 7 because it serves their needs.
As a result, browser-related updates should continue to be offered.
Essentially, I am not going to 'upgrade' to Win 10 just so that I can continue to use a browser. In fact, 'other' browsers still work like a dream with Win 7.

The banner is gone and all I see is the enabled Opera ad-blocker so I must be golden.
When I log out and click the blue ‘login’ link, it states ‘Continue As’ and shows my email address and username and I can click it to sign back in without manually entering the sign-in information again.
Do I have to click 'use another account' in order to sign out completely so I do not see this or am I missing something? I should be able to manually sign back in without my previous sign-in information being saved.

It does not make sense that I would be instructed to 'refresh' O weekly 'unless' an update 'of some form' took place.
From memory, the '95' did not change but the '4653.90' portion did so.
As mentioned, as recent as a week ago, after clicking 'Menu->About Opera,' an install occurred, and, consequently, I was instructed to restart Opera.
'Again,' I ask: Since Firefox uses an 'ESR,' does Opera have one as well (or an equivalent?).

However, I am still able to 'manually' check (and install) updates though.
What is being 'updated' then? Firefox has an 'Extended Service Release'-Does Opera have an equivalent for Win 7 users?
Opera updates automatically as well but, that stated, each morning I still click 'Help->About Opera' in order to check for updates manually.

I am 'likely' missing a detail so, consequently, I would like someone to explain it to me.
Every morning, I check for updates manually to ensure that the latest version is installed.
However, when I click on the Browser Red Menu Button, 'Get 'The Latest Security Update' is listed with a red dot.
When it is clicked, it states ''Download Opera Browser,' and a 'See More' link, with a 'Opera Browser For Windows' option.
Please answer each question separately:
