With Chrome and Firefox, if I right click on a bookmark I can choose "open in new tab" or "open in new window". I can also just drag the bookmark to an empty space on the tab area and the link opens. Neither seems possible in Opera. Is this a feature or a bug. Is there a setting I'm missing? If this really is just how Opera has decided to handle bookmarks, it's one of the few things that bothers me about Opera.

Nope. At least not that I'm aware of. Downloaded the .deb from the official Opera download page. Installed via gdebi. Opened. Synced. No modifications made by me at all. Everything was default. All was fine for a couple days. Then this. Also happened on Manjaro XFCE.

Happened again. What could cause this? It never happened in Windows. It's just not usable in Linux. X(

Hmmm. I may have fixed it. I went to Nemo (the Linux Mint 18 file browser for Cinnamon) and clicked "show hidden files. Went to /home/unclespellbinder/.config/opera. Deleted that and reopened Opera. Signed in again and my bookmarks and passwords are back. Is this normal?

"Profile Did Not Load Properly" - Now all saved passwords are goneOpera for Linux
Running Opera 39.0.2256.71 on Linux Mint 18. All was great until just now. Opened Opera and got "Profile Did Not Load Properly" pop up. Now all my saved passwords are gone. What the heck happened? Can they be recovered? Or am I screwed?
