RE: Is Opera Chrome?Lounge
@Molehill Opera is now a rebranded Chrome browser it uses Chromium sourcecode which is controlled by Google but not claimed to be owned so Google can attempt to shed liability.

RE: can't login on OperaMiniFeedback for the Forums
@leocg how does OperaMini handle SSL differently from ChromeRebrandOpera. The quick fix is always to accept falseSSL certificates and surrender everything

How to import saved passwords unto OperaMini?Opera Mini
How to import saved passwords unto OperaMini? I would export from ChromeRebrandOpera and import into OperaMini to avoid using compromised Opera sync services.

RE: How to export Passwords?Opera for Android
I have the same question: how to export passwords, except CSV is not necessary any export format will do, and I want to export from ChromeRebrandOpera into OperaMini.

can't login on OperaMiniFeedback for the Forums
The forum can be seen fine on OperaMini but when I tap login the auth page is blank not loading right, my guess is because of SSL a crook has likely changed the SSL of the auth to gain access to everybodys acct and stored sync passwords. Anyway what is the difference between how ChromeRebrandOpera and OperaMini handle SSL, I ask because I now post from ChromeRebandOpera which's SSL obviously worked for the auth page that does not work in OperaMini, a correct answer to this question is needed to figure out how to login here to forums from my newly installed OperaMini.

RE: Can somebody explain why such a neat non-Google browser is google dependent.?Opera for Android
@jhonndee upvoted you for agreeing, suggesting OperaMini isn't worth bookmarking. If you like you may join in on my next question here https://forums.opera.com/topic/75714/switching-from-opera-to-operamini/1

RE: Can somebody explain why such a neat non-Google browser is google dependent.?Opera for Android
@jhonndee glad to read you agree and are aware. Trying out opera mini now. like the FAQ reads reminds me of the realOpera browser not this chrome rebrand trash. seems like dev goal was to make realOpera the mini version and replace opwra with chrome rebrand trash. also note depending on your VPN or ISP prob what fakeGoogle JS criminal espionage bugs you get. I will have some questions about operaMini woyld you like me to ask you here or spawn new threads you can seek for?

Can somebody explain why such a neat non-Google browser is google dependent.?Opera for Android
Can somebody explain why such a neat non-Google browser is google dependent. I mean when I start the browser it warns user to enable google play services, as with many apps having this warning there is really no need to rely on GoogPlServ. Since after Chrome 111.0 the Polaris committee introduced privacy leaving cookie errors upstream of all browsers Chrome and moz, everything up to date. This results in a Google Chrome for android criminal espionage bug. Every rebtanded browser has it because it is the same sourcecode, even Opera. Anyway I say this because the browsers frequently lockup, only those after the Criminal espionage bug, my guess is JavaScript problems. This is relevent to this post because only after Opera issues a GoogPS warning does even Opera frequently hang & lockup. So bringing this back to the top: Can somebody explain why such a neat non-Google browser is google dependent.?
