Java is a known security threat! I got tired of updating it (Flash is bad enough!), and I disabled/uninstalled it (no problems IE11/OP).
Now Java is back with the new OP (not in Control Panel), and if I disable it- No pages will load?
Is there a way to disable Java, and have pages load normally?
If not does OP auto-update Java?
RE:- Unless they release a Ppapi version of their plugin, there isn't.
I checked the Foxit Reader Forum, and they are supposedly working on a NPAPI version...?

I Hate Chrome PDF viewer!-
If I want to print a small Amazon shipping label (as shown in view), it instead fills an 8.5" x 11" page that won't fit on a small shipping box.
I've tried to allow all plugins (close/open), but Foxit is Not shown in Manage Plugins...?
Is there a way to do this, as I prefer Opera to IE11?
How do I empty Trash?-
If I right click on the Trash icon in Bookmarks menu, it offers to send it to Trash?
I send them to Trash..., and the next thing I know Walmart then Target pops up...!
Opera is supposed to block Advertising- Not! :o(

v40 upgrade keeps adding sites to start page, and my ESS AV requires me to keep re-trusting OP (open/close, with2min...).

I Googled Java/Flash...- Chrome (Opera) disables them by default, but allows you to re-enable them.
Here's How-
Type opera:plugins in the address bar, and click on the 1st pop-up.
Then you can Enable or Disable them...
Note!- Most of the Java security vulnerabilities are in the Toolkit!~ Toolkit is not Necessary for Java to run, so Disable this part! Then enable the other Java part if you want to...
Do the same with Flash (I use it, so I Enable it)...
Both Flash, and Java update frequently to plug vulnerabilities, so keep them both Current (usually a few days After Win Updates)!

It worked in Private window, but my Lastpass PW manager was disabled (couldn't Log in).
I then White listed Swanson in my Ghostery extension, and it works OK now! :o)
When I update Java, a Notice comes up saying Java is no longer supported on Chrome?-

According to Swanson web support their site works OK (searches...) with Chrome, I know it does with IE11, but Not with Opera (32 too)?
Please report this bug to your developers, or...
BTW!- The latest version of Opera is 31, Not 12.17 (click About Opera in CP>>>)!?
As Opera/Chrome get their settings from IE...-
After the next day's cold startup, wait 40min (for your AV to Trust changes...(moving cursor All over the desktop...)), and reboot again-
Then Open/close Control Panel (show All too), then IE 4 times (wait 2min between open/close!).
Then open/close Opera 4 times (same wait...) before browsing. Sometimes I have to clear browsing data (Forever...!)/reboot, if Opera is balky..., then the same open/close again... before browsing...
Note- Depending on which AV you use?-
All Security Suites are slow to Trust... (I use ESET Smart Security v8), results may vary...
It also is a Good idea to Open/close Control Panel (show All too!), before opening browsers..., or doing Java/Flash updates.
Over time the Opera browser cache becomes Huge, and I've had problems clearing it in the past?-
After clearing it from CP do I reopen Opera before reboot (most files don't actually delete until After a reboot), and then...?
-On my Win7 x86 computer, Downloads icon shows on Search bar, and No Sync icon (OK).
-On my Win7 x64 computer, Sync icon shows (don't want to Sync, or icon!), and No Downloads icon?

They all do not implement SSL-certificate checking properly. As many as 99% of revoked SSL certs are still considered as valid until they expire.

The Only thing I like about Firefox/IE11, is that they have this setting with Remember my choice!
Older versions of Opera had this Preferences/Advanced... setting?
