This has happened with the latest Opera (I got it last night - 22 Sept 2022)... is this an Opera problem or a graphics card issue?

Disable Affirm solicitationsSuggestions and feature requests
I have very little money to spend every month, in part due to my Internet bill, and now Opera expects me to use Affirm to save me money on purchases I can not afford anyway. Opera has many good things going for it, but like a lot of businesses, their leaders appear to be punishing the less fortunate. I want to disable any sign of Affirm whenever I use Opera. Please help me to do so.

Parts of page fail to load, white backgroundOpera for Windows
For example, a random thumbnail link on a Youtube channel will not appear, with just a white space in its place.
Or, at a local newspaper, some of the buttons to control display of the PDF edition, or parts of a banner ad, disappear in the same way.
Minimizing, then restoring, the tab remedies the problem, but of course it shouldn't be occurring in the first place.
I have absolutely followed all the steps to which you referred in your introductory posts, and this is strictly an Opera situation.
The monitor is a Dell 2009W analog, and I am quite aware that the company discontinued it, yet there are still plenty of them out there.

More locations for VPN?Opera for Windows
The options in the basic browser are limited to continental ones (Americas, Europe, Asia)
Do any of the addons available allow more specific settings? Say, a specific country? Or even a specific location, even in the US? You've probably heard of sites geolimited to a radius from a city.

RE: Disable Affirm solicitationsSuggestions and feature requests
@akanido Of course, I've also contacted Affirm, directly and through social media. This has to be brought out into the open.

[Solved]Animated GIFs failing to loadOpera for Windows
https://www.mlb.com/cut4/sean-casey-was-once-thrown-out-at-first-base--from-left-field/c-77879462 is from 2014, which obviously is since the initial release of Opera.
It has at least three animated GIFs, which fail to load.
If I right-click on any of them, and select open image in new tab, they load normally.
What to I need to do to make the GIFs load in the page?Version:86.0.4363.50
System:Windows 10 64-bit -

@donq As of this morning it had cleared up, but I'll continue to monitor it. Hardware acceleration always puzzled me, sometimes it helps and sometimes it hurts.

Is it an Opera thing, or a Windows (10) thing, that the taskbar button colour is a deep orange? Thanks. -
Asks to update extensions every time I start O.Opera for Windows
It doesn't happen immediately I open Opera, but every time I open it in the last 3 or 4 days, the pop-down appears saying extensions need to be updated. Is this a bug, or are their actually updates being sent multiple times?
