How do I stop the constant opera forum emails? I've clicked unsubscribe link in the emails and it goes to a form (already logged in) which h as "Access Denied" at the top of the form. Any ideas? I don't have time to read all of these emails.

RE: [Suggestion]Workspaces should be have different sessions and cookiesTab Islands, Tabs and Workspaces
@leocg You use the word profile which to me means like an account. This is all one person, but workspaces treats groups of tabs with a label. Why can't that apply to speed dial? A group of workspaces under one profile, a group of speed dials under one profile. It's all the same.

RE: Can't have different speed dials, bookmarks and wallpapers for each workspaceTab Islands, Tabs and Workspaces
@nosferatu1922 Hopefully, it's a work in progress. I'm sure they have been thinking about other features and how they should be integrated, but got one thing done. For all they know no one will like the workspaces. (someone on the team is a linux desktop user).

RE: The future of browsing: Opera One, the first AI-powered browser is ready for downloadBlogs
@mryanmarkryan2 yeah so confirmed. To reproduce, open opera. Setup some tabs in various workspaces. Then open a new instance of opera. You should be able to alt-tab between them. Open a tab in instance 2. Now close instance 1, then close instance 2. Re-open opera. You will see only instance 2.
I think the workspaces are kind of limited in concept. I would have focused on Speed dial getting new functionality as far as saving tabs for the workspace. For example, the first row of speed dial (or a side row) would match the workspace. Close the session and the tabs for the workspace are saved there. Right-click and restore to restore them if they are not there. Speed dials are permanent, but tabs are not. I see plenty of flaws in my quick idea here, but that's the general idea. Basically, workspaces need to work correctly with other opera features.

RE: The future of browsing: Opera One, the first AI-powered browser is ready for downloadBlogs
@frederikathias I think i encountered this. I thought at the time I closed my session with multiple tabs in different workspaces when I still had another session (instance of opera) that was still open but didn't have those tabs opened. When I closed the last session, it remembers that setup.

@leocg Perhaps that is because the Speed Dial architecture hasn't been updated to match the concept of workspace? Hopefully it's something to tackle someday.

I rather like it It feels more organized and the look is clean.

RE: General Opera One Feedback TopicGeneral
I think it would also be cool if workspaces had unique speed dials. I have a hard time tracking which workspace I'm in. But if I had specific speed dials per workspace, then I could assign saved speed dials based on the workspace's purpose (maybe a specific project, or personal, etc). I don't think the speed dial is being leveraged as much as it could be. Opera invented this concept and it's still the best I've seen out there. It's also a big part of why I've stayed with Opera.

RE: Ability to merge separate Opera Window tabsSuggestions and feature requests
@burnout426 By golly, you are right! I'm so used to ALT-F4, I haven't tried the menu exit in a long time. Thanks for the help.

RE: Ability to merge separate Opera Window tabsSuggestions and feature requests
@leocg So if I have website A, B, C, D open in one instance of opera and website E, F, G, H, I open in another instance of opera. By instance, I can Alt Tab and flip between them. They are separate Windows. I want to close out both windows with Alt-f4 for example. Let's say I'm rebooting my computer or shutting dow for the day. So let's say I close out the window with E, F, G, H, I. Then close the window with A, B, C. When I open Opera again, all I see is A, B, C, D. The other websites that were in the other instance are gone unless I want to save to a folder and restore. So my request is that either I can merge all websites in all open instances to the primary window (1st open?) or alternatively, I can run a menu option to merge all open Opera windows into one instead of having to drag each folder manually from one instance to another until I have them on the same instance. Hope this makes sense.
Edit: I actually like the 2nd option better. Just a menu option to merge all open instances into one. -
Ability to merge separate Opera Window tabsSuggestions and feature requests
I've been an Opera user since '95 (roughly). I use it for almost 100% of my work. I often open more than one instance of Opera with each having tabs. I do this for coding research or perhaps to break up groups of tabs during the day. However, if I close windows and quit Opera, Opera only restores the last instance of Opera that is closed. Is there a feature or can one be created that merges all open tabs from all open Opera windows into the 1st open Window? Right now I have to save all tabs to a folder for each window and then open each folder from the window I want to merge them in. Then i have to close the other windows and then close the last window so that when I open it again, I have all my work and research. Hope I'm being clear?
Alternatively, Opera could remember all open instances of Opera windows and restore their tabs instead of just the last one.

RE: Suddenly I cannot drag tabs to another browser window anymoreOpera for Windows
It's suddenly happening to me this past week. I just saw the comment on dropping to the left of the other tabs. That works, but is pretty hard to know and not very friendly. Was a bug opened on this?

RE: Not accepting .webm or .mp4 for custom animated wallpaper anymore?Opera for computers
Dear Opera Dev,
Why does playing videos in the background have to be such rocket science? I have my own mp4 videos I would like to play.. converting them to webm didn't work and its a huge hassle. Can't it be easy to have this feature? This and speed dial are the two reasons I've used Opera since the 90's..
Thanks

Opera Mail - Gmail - Two Factor AuthenticationOpera for Windows
I've been trying to find an answer to this but am only finding a lot of confusion. It would be nice if the FAQ made this simple. . I want to use Opera Mail with Gmail Two factor authentication. Does it work? If yes, is there a clear followable set of steps that anyone knows of?

RE: Is there any backup system at all??Opera for Windows
If you have that many open, its a time investment, so right-click on a tab and save to speed dial and they will all save to a folder. Now you can close them all and go to speed dial and right-click and open all tabs.

RE: Desktop icons flickering when loading OperaOpera for Windows
Just some generic steps to follow..
Make sure you are running the latest updates and patches from Microsoft. check it..If not resolved, try deleting the graphics drivers and let them re-install. Then perform an automatic update. Then check again.
If not resolved, backup your %appdata% Roaming files and then delete them and see if it happens with a clean copy. You can even uninstall opera and re-install. But make sure the %appdata% folders in Local and Roaming are gone before installing again.
