@operafanuk
It is a "windows" shortcut. It is designed to launch the "default" browser and open the link embedded. Alternatively, you can right-click on the desktop and New/Shortcut. Then go through the wizard dialog that appears. Paste the URL you want to save into the shortcut. Click finish and you have a shortcut. You can also select an application. You can rename the shortcut whatever you want. To edit it, just rightclick and select properties. Hope that helps.

RE: Not accepting .webm or .mp4 for custom animated wallpaper anymore?Opera for computers
Dear Opera Dev,
Why does playing videos in the background have to be such rocket science? I have my own mp4 videos I would like to play.. converting them to webm didn't work and its a huge hassle. Can't it be easy to have this feature? This and speed dial are the two reasons I've used Opera since the 90's..
Thanks

Opera Mail - Gmail - Two Factor AuthenticationOpera for Windows
I've been trying to find an answer to this but am only finding a lot of confusion. It would be nice if the FAQ made this simple. . I want to use Opera Mail with Gmail Two factor authentication. Does it work? If yes, is there a clear followable set of steps that anyone knows of?

RE: Is there any backup system at all??Opera for Windows
If you have that many open, its a time investment, so right-click on a tab and save to speed dial and they will all save to a folder. Now you can close them all and go to speed dial and right-click and open all tabs.

RE: Desktop icons flickering when loading OperaOpera for Windows
Just some generic steps to follow..
Make sure you are running the latest updates and patches from Microsoft. check it..If not resolved, try deleting the graphics drivers and let them re-install. Then perform an automatic update. Then check again.
If not resolved, backup your %appdata% Roaming files and then delete them and see if it happens with a clean copy. You can even uninstall opera and re-install. But make sure the %appdata% folders in Local and Roaming are gone before installing again.

Are you running the launcher or directly to the exe?

RE: Wallpaper resets between sessionsOpera for Windows
@leocg
Correct, but I did follow up with your idea of doing a reset in the %appdata% resources and the clean version work fines. Sooooo.. I'll export my bookmarks, reset, and import them and see if it resolves the issue. Maybe it was a bug introduced by an update updating an older resource? I'll post if its resolved. -

@leocg
I've tried a number of them. Opera just doesn't remember it downloaded it. Other changes are saved. Everything else is working fine. -

Forgot to mention, I have to re-download any animation i want to use. It downloads and installs successfully. I can see it on the speeddial screen. It just goes away after I quit opera.
