Spell-check looks improved in last Opera Stable 34.0.2036.50 update

As technical writer, I'm forced to use Firefox because it better detects misspelled words.

I would like to modify the keywords assigned to the default search engines.

However, after editing following file:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera\31.0.1889.99\resources\default_partner_content.json

I get a "At least one file with ressources (.pak) is corrupted" error message.

Ok. I've got it. After enabling the extensions developer mode, the string is present when right-clicking any extension icon. It is not a Last Pass issue.

It seems to be added by Last Pass so you will have to contact them.

Bookmarks can be sorted from the Opera menu. This functionality should be available in opera://bookmarks panel too.

In my Opera beta 27.0 with sync enabled, search engines are not synchronized.

However, when importing Firefox bookmarks, Opera also imports the custom search engines. That is, the search engines added as Firefox bookmarks using the Add a keyword for this search command.

Thus, it would be nice to manage Opera search engines from bookmark manager too.

When selecting a URL text, the combination of Ctrl key and Go to web address context command should open the link in a new tab.

My office computer accesses Internet via a proxy auto-config .dat file.

I'm getting Unable to connect to the proxy server errors when trying to access external sites (this forum for example).

A proxy server is a server that acts as an intermediary between your computer and other servers. Right now, your system is configured to use a proxy, but Opera can't connect to it.

This error is no detected when using Chrome.
