@leocg I disagree. Eight hidden extensions that I cannot disable, all with intrusive permissions that I did not grant is not a minor issue. This shakes my confidence in Opera in a way I did not think possible. This is not a minor privacy issue. I should think Opera would realize that.

RE: Extension upgrade requires additional permissions...Opera for computers
@mathias87 Have you started Opera with the "--show-component-extension-options" command? I didn't think I had hidden extensions either until I started with that command.

@leocg Yes but that banner reveals that hidden extensions exist, extensions that none of us realized were there.

RE: Extension upgrade requires additional permissions...Opera for computers
I don't have Rich HInts Agent showing on my extensions page yet I also have the notification. Also --show-component-extension-options has no effect here.
All this chatter yet it isn't enough to awaken a single mod. Strange.

RE: Extension upgrade requires additional permissions...Opera for computers
@leocg I want to believe you but something that can read and change data, settings, even copy and paste contents not to mention being enabled in private window when all other legit extensions are not has an uphill battle to show they are harmless.

@fdauti Actually there are. By my count here it is Opera 15, Vivaldi 6, Brave 3. Pick your poison.

RE: Hidden extensions in private windowOpera for Windows
@xtorbax The trouble with that is when I open a private window and then check all those hidden extensions for which I have unchecked the boxes, those Allow in incognito boxes have been re-checked by Opera. So I guess the answer is they are active in Private window and are going to stay active. That's getting a bit intrusive in my book and I hope O comes to their senses on this.

Bring back old Speed dial fontSuggestions and feature requests
My suggestion is to dump this new smaller speed dial font I see in 71.0.3770.148 and go back to the previous one which was more attractive and easier to read.
The new font is smaller, harder to read, and apparently tries to include the whole url leaving some bits at the beginning and end and with ... in the middle. This is most apparent on the small tile size. It may have been done with the large tile in mind but it is an awkward look and you ought to trash it especially for the small tiles.

RE: Aliexpress promotion in sidebar and start pageOpera for Windows
@herrpietrus Opera Speed Dial is what keeps me tied to Opera. The day someone comes up with a reasonable knock-off....
