I have nothing to add - this change is ridiculous! Revert to previous behavior! If you really want, keep that only for the Bookmarks Bar folder!

RE: The future of browsing: Opera One, the first AI-powered browser is ready for downloadBlogs
OK, bye bye Opera... at least Opera One. Reinstalling version 99.
Why these tabs are so thin an incoherent with the rest of the UI?
Why buttons on the sidebar are moved to bottom?! -
Can't uninstall OperaOpera for Windows
When I try to uninstall Opera I receive a prompt "Insufficient privileges to install in chosen location" (or something like that, I'm translating from my national language).
What can I do know?
I don't see any uninstaller in Opera folder.
As far as I know it's not possible to run Windows Settings with elevated permissions... -

BTW - why the tabs cannot be higher and why main tollbar cannot be thinner? It's so huge now even though icons gets smaller and smaller. Please, start to think.
I quite like separated modules and even that frame around the page content, but not these too much rounded shapes and even more wasted space!
And please, make SD tile less rounded. Websites are not designed for old TV's.... -

@burnout426 Wow, cool... that will be my favorite part:
"Delete any Opera subkeys under "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall".

Delete "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes\OperaStable". (Delete Operabeta, Operadeveloper, and "Opera GXStable" ones in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Classes" too.)
Delete "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\OperaStable" if it's still there. (Delete Operabeta, Operadeveloper, and "Opera GXStable" ones in "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT" too if they're still there.)"
OK, I'm afraid I'm afraid I'll have to do this, so, honestly, thanks for your help!
But I'd like to now why it happens? How can you break the uninstaller so that it doesn't work?
Opera behaves as a malware...

RE: Opera 105 betaBlogs
After many years of using the Opera browser (since version 7.5, if I remember correctly), I finally switched to the Vivaldi browser. You don't even know what a relief it is! I couldn't stand this ugly Opera One Ui anymore! All those big rounds like in airplane windows, nightmarish bright purple accents, silly looking tabs, stupid new sidebar with buttons moved to the bottom (so ergonomic!), incorrectly scaled side panels...
Now I've got almost everything I had in Opera (I miss only the bookmark's page layout) plus great looking UI (they added themes so you can have nice icons finally!), properly integrated side-panels, notes, list of sites to read later (temporary bookmarks :)), vertical tabs (I don't like them, but they are here), more tab grouping options, no stupid audio pop-ups after update, browser UI scaling and proper main bar height... Can't even express how happy I am!

@donq I bet caching. As far as I know the only solution for Blink based browsers is to create RAM disc and move cache there...
