There's a small coffee roasting company (Mother Lode Roasting Company) from my hometown in California I'm from that has the best bags of whole bean coffee. There's no reason for them to have this. No coffee growing, no coffee culture, not even that many coffee shops. But for some reason it's tasty. My favorite is their Sunrise Blend which is also what my dad drinks. Been having it from about age 12.

I store them unceremoniously on a shelf at room temperature, but do try to only grind my coffee just before use. Electric grinder. Then I use a cone filter to do a pour over into a steel insulated carafe I have. Tastes great, I can make it as strong as a I want, and stays hot for several hours while I'm working. I normally drink it black and my BCC (Blood Coffee Content) is at least a .16 at all times.

@guilherm456 For articles in the newsfeed, you can report the individual content. If we notice a pattern from certain sources while moderating flags, we will likely ban the source.

For going to the website, I agree that would be an interesting tag to have in the URL bar if the site is considered unreliable or fake. Would be an interesting extension to make!

Hi @ibnsuleiman . While we don't have a list of sources to subscribe/unsubscribe, we do have it for each article you see. You can click the 'x' in the bottom right of the article tile (next to the photo) and select the option 'Not Interested'

This will open a page to tailor your news. You can choose to block/mute that source, say you aren't interested in the topic/category, or type a message in 'other' for us. As you block a few major 'clickbait' or 'tabloid' sources, you should notice a significant improvement in the feed. I hope this helps.

@benjsw Thanks Benjsw. Which red tops are you seeing too often? Ones with consistently offensive/abusive content I can have removed. Others I may be able to make less prominent.

@joshl Hope your condition improves, Josh! I played a few good fames from Steam in the past year (they're a bit old). "This War of Mine" (thought provoking) "The Stanley Parable" (Witty and indie) and "Stellaris" (grand strategy).

@vickanna I like this idea. A dark mode for reading news would be good for at night. I'll bring this up with our UI team. Any other thoughts on this? Feel free to chime in.

@vince42 Definitely agree. A paid ad-free version is something I'd like to see (at least minus the non-publisher ads in the feed) and the worst thing for us is to lose our active and loyal users like you. As more users comment on this thread, it will help build the case that this monetization strategy is not good in the long term.

@vince42 I hear you and thanks for the feedback. I tend to agree about ads, but there are some things I might be able to help with. If you see some offensive or otherwise just uncomfortable ads in you feed, I may be able to get them removed if you send me a screenshot.

For getting content you want to see, it should improve after selecting 10-15 articles you like. You can also select from the news card options to manually edit it.

We really hope to keep you in the Opera family, especially as we continue working on our news service so comments like yours are appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback. The 'You' section begins with what other people are choosing and can be a bit clickbaity until it has a better grasp of your user profile. If you'd like to improve it, give it a bit more info by making some selections and then block the sources you don't like.

If you don't mind me asking, which country are you accessing it from? Also, would you mind giving me some more info on the bad sites you're seeing? Some URLs, screenshots, etc. I may be able to block them if they're causing problems, or at least send this information along as a recommendation to our team.
