For some reason, Opera's default background and header colours has defaulted to this insipid yellow mousse with a pinkish grey accent and grey type. I have tried all controls to turn it white and blue/grey with no success. The colors are fine in Chrome and Firefox. How do I change them in Opera?

The colors in the screenshot are brighter that on screen.

@leocg - Thank you.

no matter what theme or wallpaper I choose, I seem to be stuck with this (ugly) pink header. !

How do I change it?

Opera 1 live streams all sites including youtube, but it will not load CBC.ca's Gem. GX streams Gem fine. Any thoughts?

My Android Opera 85.0.4500.81766 home page Search box defaults to Google Search. How do I change it to DDG?

I am using 85.0.4500.81766 on my new Moto G Power 5G, and I lose A-V sync almost immediately - doesn't happen on Firefox. Any suggestions?

@7syntax-error So I hid the home page search box. Out of sight, out of mind... Thank you
However it would be nice to have a DuckDuckGo search box on the page, even if the location line provides that function.

@leocg So how do I get rid of it?

Am I correct in assuming that the permanent Google search box on the home page (Speed Dial for me) is the price we pay for Opera being built on the Chromium source code? If so, Sayonara, Opera

@sgunhouse Sorry - I am referring to the browser

Is there a method of opening mp3's mov's etc automatically in vlc when I select download for an email attachment?

@sgunhouse That works.... thanks

Re: Speed dials and instant search: searche engine

I am trying to remove Google's invasive observation of my search and surf preferences, and I see the only option on Speed dial is G Search.... Please make the other search engines available - I use DuckDuckGo...

@leocg ... any suggestions?

It is a stip of social media icons down the left margin, which only appears sometimes. It obscures the first few letter of each text line. It does not show as an addon or as an extension.

What do I need to do to remove it? They give instructions for chrome and FF, but not Opera.

@burnout426 said in Audio sync:

opera://flags/#use-angle

Thanks for the suggestions - best sync happened with video acceleration off, but the video became pixillated in motion areas. I'll stick with accelerations and default use-angle.
I would apreciate it if you could add audio sync to the wishlist, thanks.

When watching anything streaming, video trails audio. It would be nice if we could delay audio to sync with video, as we can in VLC pressing J or K . Can you do this?

@leocg - and what would the related ones be?

I looked at Google finance a few days a go, and now, my BitDefender keeps notifying me that it has blocked opera from communicating with analytics.yahoo.com. How do I block all analytics in Opera, or do I need to use TOR?
