Still, no problem with Flow on my iPhone and my iPad. Connected instantly.

@smilodon99 You won't have sync with Opera on iOS, too. Think of Opera on iOS as Opera Touch on Android - although I don't know if it still exists.

RE: [Duplicated]How can I syncronise PC and iOs?Opera Browser
@elimicol I'm afraid, but I don't know of any other solution. I'd still advise to start the sync- chain afresh, as there is sometimes a conflict.
I'm on the edge to migrate to Vivaldi anyways. I hope you may find the key to connect your iPhone. -
Custom background wallpapersOpera for Android
On my Samsung Tablet - after a reinstall of Opera - I can‘t set a custom wallpaper from my own Google Photos account. It worked before and I‘m also shown all of my photos, I can even select them. But after that, I get an error message: „Picture could not be loaded. Please control your internet connection.“
This is strange, because it worked with previous installations. It worked with Vivaldi. And I could even load two or three ransom pictures which I only chose for testing purposes. But only these handful of photos.
I tried to set VPN, even changed DNS server, connected to my mobile phone as to use its mobile connectivity. But all of this didn’t help. So I‘ve chosen one of Opera‘s pre-selected ones and that’s reasonably ok, but I‘d like to set my own of course. Does anybody have the same issue and even a solution?

I did a new install on my Windows PC and had no problem connecting my iPhone via Flow to it. I hope, you'll cope with that, too.

If you are sure you haven‘t anything important on Flow, you could delete Flow completely („delete Flow“). This logs you out from your Opera account as well.
You could also manually log out from your iPhones if you‘ve logged in on them in order to use Aria. After that log in into your Opera account on desktop and then try to connect to your iPhones first before Android. I hope this would work. If so, connect your Android device to Flow on desktop.
Make sure, you have the latest version of Opera on each of all your devices.Connecting to Flow can sometimes be tricky in my experience, unfortunately. As sometimes there‘s some conflict. People should realize that it‘s a sync feature, even though not full fledged.

@elimicol Sync doesn‘t exist on iOS, but Flow works for me on both, iPad and iPhone. Maybe You’re sync chain is somehow broken?

Vivaldi users here?Lounge
I wonder if there are any Vivaldi users here, who use it and Opera side by side. I always keep an eye on Vivaldi, although Opera became my primary one some two and a half years ago.
What are your thoughts on both and which one do you prefer and why? I tend to think that Vivaldi is a more traditional kind of browser, resembling browser suites like old Opera or Netscape.
Opera feels more modern and straight forward to me. Still, both have a lot in common.
Vivaldi claims to be far more private than Opera and fixing security patches faster.Opera on the other hand claims 300M Users whereas Vivaldi does 3M. So that‘s a huge gap.
As I like both, preferring Opera through, How do you think about both?

RE: Opera 115.0.5322.109 Stable updateBlogs
@mathias87 Yes, I cited from memory. It's .119 a vulnerability patch from Chromium. Thank you.
Now, there's also the blog post about it. -

Has there been an official update to .122? I was updated to it on Windows, but I don’t see neither a blog post nor a changelog.

The need to refresh notification settings and to log in againGeneral
In the last two weeks or so, I have to refresh push notifications on some sites time and again. On WhatsApp e.g. Some other sites won‘t remember me being logged in, like PixlR. Crazy enough, they still show some former projects of mine when I visit them. But still they want me to log in again.
I‘ve disabled third party cookies and I‘m using HTTPS over DNS setting in Opera. Could this be the reason?

RE: Opera Autostart verhindernDeutsch
RE: Synchronization on new macbookOpera for Mac
Syncing Opera works differently than in other browsers. Opera won't sync your bookmarks in a way that you have the same bookmarks on all your devices. Rather it keeps them separate for any device. But you get access to the any devices' bookmarks.
I think, this is quite handy, as I'm happy that my Speed Dials e.g. are not the same on my private and my work device. But by the bookmarks menu I can easily click the bookmarks from the other one. You can even edit the bookmarks on other devices at least from desktop.Unfortunately this doesn't apply to the iOS version which has no sync feature except for "Flow".

@leocg I know, I think it would just be handy to choose filters from a pre-selected list as in Android.
