Is there any way to customise the location of the "X" icon to close a tab? I'm coming from Firefox where it's on the right and now it's on the left I keep accidentally closing my tabs. Is there any setting to change this?

Would love to see Opera admx support for Windows enterprise deployments. This would enable Opera to be deployed in an enterprise environment.

Check out the "File System" folder there. Opera happen to keep recently downloaded files there (why the heck for!?) and it doesn't clean it up with "Clear browser data" button.

When creating your Gravatar account, be sure to use the same email address you used to open your Opera account. If you already have a Gravatar account, you can add an additional email address (the one you've associated with Opera) to assign a new Gravatar in the Opera forums.

But if you use Gravatar with a mail address, you can be tracked and identified on other webpages, even if you want to be anonymous.

I support this. Pull down to refresh is not a feature I need, and it triggers when I don't want it to way too much.

When I open opera next time, It will load all tabs and my computer will 'STUCK' so long time, How to Stop Loading Tabs?
I want to just load one tab when I see the one page.
I using opera 12.17 and windows 7.

on chrome just tap it in adress bar and change option

Gibt es bei Opera eine Möglichkeit, die Lesezeichenleiste unterhalb der URL-Leiste mehrzeilig zu gestalten? Ich hatte bei Firefox immer das Add-on Multirow Bookmark Toolbar Plus installiert. Gibt es eine ähnliche Möglichkeit in Opera? Bisher konnte ich dazu noch nichts finden.

If that option isn't available in your version of Opera, simply hit the Opera button on top left and change the zoom. I have to set mine at 90% to get all seven columns. It also does not affect other tabs, just the speeddial page. Also, future upgrades and deleting history settings seems to reset back to 100% so you'll have to change it again if you suddenly notice that it's wonky.

The new opera has gesture for opening/closing tabs and back/forward/refresh, but no gesture for switching tabs! Its inconsistant behavior that you can do most navigation tab management with gesture, yet it lacks the most important tab management gesture. I propose that the new opera re-adds the gesture from opera 12 (hold right click + scroll wheel) to switch tabs. This was a very convenient and intuitive gesture.

Note: if this is added, please make sure there is an option between cycling recent and cycling "next" tab though. opera 12 defaulted to cycling recent tabs with this gesture which I found incredibly annoying, and thankfully it had an option to change that.

These are the clickbait ads that appear at the bottom of news sites, etc. They are THE most worthless clutter on the web and your ad blocker doesn't block them.

Maybe they are whitelisted. Then give us the option to override whitelisted ads.

Love your browsers. Use them on my Linux desktops, but I'm going back to Samsung browser + AdGuard until you blacklist Taboola and Outbrain ads.

I suggest an exception list for VPN to be able to access some web sites directly, without VPN.
In my country there are some web sites with IP filtering feature so I want to visit them without VPN while using VPN for the rest.

It's really sad that you can't change your search engine on speed dial. I know that not everyone can respect Google search or Yandex for the Russians... but you can still use the omnibox.

I like to open many websites and so it occurs a problem in using Opera. Because when Opera open many tabs, the name and icon of each tab will be hided like this examle. And then it make difficult and uncomfortable to find which is desired tab.

I would like Opera developer make new features as this.

• Enable user can set "Tab bar" to multiple lines or a single line.

• When user set "Tab bar" to multiple lines, user can assign how many tabs in each line or automatically.

• Enable user can select to set automatically hide all "Close tab button" and automatically show only when mouse cursor position is stay over that tab or not.

Have they made any progress on this? I lost a long forum reply the other day to pull down to refresh!

Hello, When Android starts, some apps have a line of code telling Android to start after boot. This helps on faster app launching. As for it sending Network Data, It might be retrieving data for the news feed and/or looking for sites that support notifications IF you have a site that does so like Facebook. If you're worried, you can use Opera max and block Opera from using the Network on Mobile Data.
