How to replace current speed dial with one of my "other speed dials" found under bookmarks?Opera for Windows
I had to reinstall Win 7 and lost my current speed dial. But it is listed under:
bookmarks/other speed dials/"my pc model name".
How can I make this my opening page speed dial? Can it be done? I hope I do not have to remake my empty speed dial tab by tab.
Thank in advance,
RE: Any way to copy my Speed Dial from one PC to another?Opera for Windows
Many thanks for the replies; I was able to find the "favorites.db", on my older PC, copy/paste/replace the empty one db on the new installation and voila! Speed Dial updated.
Any way to copy my Speed Dial from one PC to another?Opera for Windows
My HDD crashed and I had to re-install the OS/all programs. My Opera installation is a big blank slate of nothing.
Thanks in advance
Opera will not load-stuck on "loading" tab...Opera for Windows
Opera has been crashing too often and then started to not respond unless I rebooted the PC. I uninstalled the current version, re-installed and Opera opens but stays on the "loading" tab forever unless I quit the browser. I have allowed it through the firewall, I have turned off the firewall, turned off my AV and none of this has worked. Anyone have any experience with this problem and have a possible solution? Firefox and IE work fine but I prefer to use Opera. Thanks in advance, Jeff
RE: I can no longer see the "Comments" sections on web pages.Opera for Windows
Using the newest version of Opera. Was using Ghostery but disabled it when this started. Ever since the new update, all my PCs no longer have access to website comments features. Don't have a clue as to what happened. An\y thoughts?

Is there a setting that will enable me to see them? I like to participate in several on line discussions but can no longer see the comments sections....
RE: Opera continuously disrupting streaming sound/musicOpera for Windows
Thank for the reply-I'll try to address each of your questions/points below:
Are you saying that Opera 21 -- when you refer to Opera "spiking and disrupting sound" -- is somehow making the music sound bad that you are listening to?
--Yes, the sound stutters/disappears then returns only to stutter or disappear again. Again and again and....
What kind of streaming sites are you listening too. Give us a link or links, and we can check it.
--I listen to WDNS 93 of Bowling Green. I can't figure out how to add/attach a link or .png file to show the problem I am having.
By Process Explorer you are referring to software something like the Windows Task Manager, but with more features? I assume you are interpreting something from the Process Explorer as reflecting "spiking/disrupting" and it supports what your ear tells you.
--Yes this is what I am using. I have a screen capture to show that it is Opera spiking but I do not know how to add it to my post. If there is a way to add it to my next post, please show me how.
Let us know something about your setup. Operating system, ram, etc. (Now I use Windows 7, and have 8 Ram, and plenty of computer speed).
--I am running Win7 HP with an AMD Phenom II X4 964 Black Edition 3.4 ghz Quad Core, 16 GB RAM, 240GB SSD, and a Radeon HD 7750 2GB GPU.
Maybe yours is a flash related issue. Do the sites you are listening too require flash. Do you have the latest Adobe flash player?
--Yes, I have the latest version.
Thanks in advance. I like Opera and would like to keep using it for all my browser needs. Just for the record, I used the newest Firefox browser with several add-ons/extensions and tabs open and had no music streaming issues at all. I prefer Opera, however...
Opera continuously disrupting streaming sound/musicOpera for Windows
Opera is disrupting streaming music to the point where I cannot listen to it. With just one tab open there are 4 instances of Opera running-I have no add-ons or extensions installed.
Using Process Explorer, it shows Opera continuously spiking and disrupting sound.
It has gotten to the point where I use another browser to listen to on-line music.
Any offers of help?
