Answering my own posting: This is the error:
Refused to load plugin data from 'https://www.acme.com/page.pdf' because it violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "object-src 'none'".

Removed that from the csp config and now it works.

On a webserver with enhanced security, downloading a PDF gives just a blank page. I assume that this is similar to the same bug in Chrome, but there you get a partial page. On opera you just get a blank page. Ie server settings:
Header set Content-Security-Policy: "script-src 'strict-dynamic' 'nonce-rAnd0m123' 'unsafe-inline' http: https:; object-src 'none'; base-uri 'none';"
Opera 63.0.3368.71

Yesss!! Works. Only thing that is slightly confusing is when I have a page active and then hit the heart to bookmark. I can then drill down to the desired folder, but the "dialog" remains on screen and there is no visible indication that it has indeed ended up in the right folder. It does say bookmark added though.

The way I had in in the old days was to have the bookmark pane to the left of the windows and then just drag bookmarks there.

But yes, it is getting better all the time. Getting so much better all the time!

Sounds promising. I downloaded to test on a separate machine, but then searched in vain for a way to export my bookmarks? Nevermind, copied bookmarks.*. How do I activate the hierachical view?

Has there been any real improvement on this? Sure, there has happened stuff to the bookmarks, but they are still far from useable. I would like the old, hierarchical view back!

Unless I have missed something, there is no easy way to bookmark a page and put in a designated folder. Sure, I hit bookmark and arrow down, but there I only see the first five or so folders with no means of navigation.

Also, if I want to move a bookmark you need to have the bookmarks in folder view to do so and there is no way to navigate the hierarchy easily. Only one level at a time.

No idea if this is the right place to ask, but I feel that the current (1.0) version needs some polish. Instead of whining, I am quite prepared to invest some time in fixing wht I think is broken. I am fairly proficient in programming, but a complete newb when it comes to the Chromium environment.

I have played with the BME code, but I need some quick pointers, mainly: How do I retrieve the currently selected bookmark folder (ie when I right-click on a bookmark folder? Also, how do I make the bookmark window always visible?
